Terrorism has no religion.
Anybody who kills any innocent human being is a Terrorist. If some body is a Terrorist;He can't be a Muslim.Because we have read and learnt in Islam that if a person saves a human ;He saves humanity.
And if a person kills any human as if he killed the whole humanity. So the message and guidance for we is clear and sound -the message of peace.
However,only three to 4 parties like IS, RSS, Bush party,Israeli far right party doesn't represent the faith of billions rather they represent their own far right intolerant extremist ideologies that has nothing to do with faiths.
We struggled to understand in the first years of our schooling why is this 26 Jan so special.On Black and white TV ,we used to watch Republic day-armed bands dressed beautiful,school girls and boys wearing beautiful dresses displaying different arts and messages and military weaponry displayed on tanks.Different people showing different cultures,All looked interesting and we as kids were absorbed in it .We watched all this but behind closed doors in darkness.
However it was inside story ,outside our houses ,it used to be quite different.
Before the onset of this republic day, our people were frisked,slapped,kicked ,detained ,tortured ,killed at search points set up by the Security forces. It was all horrible calm silence of terror all-around as we could smell, being in primary classes -it was horrific. However, you should know, the military was right at their places as they were indoctrined to fight Pakistan sponsored insurgency and used all means to supress the legitimate aspirations of the people.We tried hard and struggled to understand what is going around us.why our elders are slapped or kicked at will.we grew wandering to know.
Keep the friction between two faiths aside.
If Muslims want here Nizam-e-Musfata (pbuh) or Hindus want kashmiryat packed with rashis,pandit dominence or Sufi tendencies back under the frame work of Indian constitution-keep it at bay for sometime.
To my eyes as old as 10 years back 1994 ,it looked to us apartheid,it looked to us we are being treated 2nd class on our first class land.And heart pumped more blood to know more.Mercilessly people were beaten on roads.It was not new to the world but this apartheid was new to our young eyes.And now after 24 years,after our eyes were 10 years old -our blood seems frozen and our eyes are calm cool ,and can see the legacy of apartheid but heart no longer pumps more blood.Because, we know it is our culture and you live in your culture and with frozen blood in vessels,cultures don't change automatically. The two word tragedy in kashmiri language that has drowned our boat is "Mai kya " or "Asi Kya " or "Karew daari band behue panas"
Anyway,it was 27 Feb 1994;I found my maternal grand mother worried on the road looking towards kupwara town with worried eyes ,saying Gul Gul; all gathering there looking towards kupwara from more then 1 km distance but could see nothing but they gazed at the road as if they see everything. All I heard people saying, "He is dead ,He is injured,indiscriminate firing, so many and so many killed et cetra ". I looked around, all curious, worried tragic eyes.I could understand the pain but not who causes pain or why people were being killed. It took me years to understand somehow ,why 27 people were massacred by the Road opening party of 19 Medium Regiment lead by S.Bhakshi and you can see such jalian wala Bags in every book and corner of the valley and people still await for the justice as F I R was lodged then 19/1994 .And truth has legs and sure justice prevails at the end of the day. champagne color cocktail party collections
